REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Final registration February 28.  (This deadline allows time for processing the draw and distribution of tournament data.)

REFUND POLICY: 
*NO refunds will be permitted simply because an entrant fails to participate
*NO refunds will be given due to cancellation because of inclement weather.                                   

CHECK IN:
You may check in at the tournament site [ TBA],  at least 1 hour before the start of your first event on Saturday, March 1st , 2008.

RULES:  All USATT rules and regulations will be followed.  Players rating will be based on the official list sent by USATT approximately 1 week before the tournament.  You may check  your current rating at www.usatt.org.  The tournament committee will seed un-rated players.  You must be a member of the USATT to participate in the Giant Round Robin and Seeded Round Robins (please contact your commissioner for membership information). You do not have to be a member to participate in Doubles events. Participants may enter no more than 3 events.  Tournament Referee –Jie Downing, Certified Referee from Chillicothe, MO. The “Tournament Director” reserves the right to modify the format due to time constraints or unpredictable circumstances.

CLOTHING:  All USATT regulations will apply; specifically you must not wear a shirt that is predominately ball colored, in this case orange, nor should sleeveless shirts or un-hemmed jean shorts be worn.  Table tennis balls provided by www.paddlepalace.com.  They are Nittaku 3-Star Premium orange balls.

LEWIS'S BIO:  Bill has participated in major USATT sanctioned table tennis tournaments throughout the midwest.  He has organized 10 major USATT sanctioned tournaments in the past 6 years in the Springfield metro area.  As head of the Ozarks Table Tennis Club, Bill actively recruits quality players to stage 1 and 2 Star tournaments for local, regional, and nationally rated players.

Table Tennis Events

Giant Round Robin: Five players per group seeded in 7 classes:  “A”, “B”, “C”, “D”, “E”, “F” and “G”.  1st place thru 5th place in every classadvances to single elimination.  This is round robin followed by single elimination.  A minimum of 5 matches and maximum of 7 are played by each player.  Won and Loss records are computed with 1st, 2nd and 3rd [“A” has 4th] place finishers in each class.  Money payouts for class “A”.  Medallions for classes “B”, “C”, “D”, “E”, “F” and “G”.  There is a maximum of 35 players.  (See “Payouts” for money and or prizes).  Matches are best 3 out of 5. USATT membership IS required for this event.

Seeded Round Robins:  There are 5 Classed Round Robins.  Players may participate in the following:  Open:  Under-2100; Under-1800; Under-1500; and Under-1200.  Five players per Round Robin with between 4 and 7 matches played.  Top two finishers in each round robin advance to single elimination.  Won and Loss records are computed with 1st , 2nd and 3rd place finishers.  (See “Payouts” for each event's  money and or prize).    A Maximum of 15 players in each seeded round robin.  Matches are best 3 out of 5. USATT membership IS required for participation in seeded round robins.

Open Doubles: This event features players in single elimination format. (Total of 10 teams.)  (See “Pay-outs” for money and or prizes). Matches are best 3 out of 5. USATT membership is NOT required for this event.

Under 3200 Doubles:  This event features players in modified double elimination.  First round winners proceed to single elimination while first round losers proceed to double elimination.  (Total of 10 teams). (See “Payouts” for prizes).  Matches are best 3 out of 5. USATT membership is NOT required for this event.

Participants may enter a MAXIMUM of 3 events.  Participants may not enter two events which have the same starting time.  The tournament committee reserves the right to modify the format due to unpredictable or unforeseen circumstances.
