The Missouri Winter Games was a dream of founder Jeff Collins.  He envisioned a grassroots sports festival that would champion athletes of all ages.  In 2006 this dream was accomplished.  The MWG currently hosts over 10 different sporting events.  For 12 years the MWG has promoted character through sports at all levels.  From 80 year old runners to 5 year old gymnasts they are all champions.

The Missouri Winter Games national invitational is a three week long sports festival open to athletes around the country. Athletic events and competitions showcase seven prominent sports: basketball, gymnastics, racquetball, swimming, trap shooting, volleyball, and wrestling. We have been blessed to have many famous athletes join us during these times such as USA soccer player Mia Hamm, USA gymnastics stand outs Jordyn Wieber, Nastia Liukin  and Shawn Johnson and 2017 brings us an amazing racquetball professional Cliff Swain!

The Missouri Winter Games success has brought another charity to life.  Champions Committed to KIDS partners kids with chronic illnesses and disabilities with local sports teams.  MWG's has paired over 75 young people with numerous high school, college and professional teams across the Ozark Region.  These athletes of all abilities learn how to be champions together.
